- By participating in CozyCon spaces, you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to our
rules and those of the platform being used. This includes age restrictions (parents, we won’t do your job for

- You are expected to keep to the spirit of the community and staff reserve the right to remove any
content/user from our spaces for any reason at any time. We take no responsibility for the content posted by the
community and will report/remove users as we see fit to keep our space safe. - Do not link to other Discord servers unless you’ve gotten admin approval, or are an approved
Vendor / Panelist / DJ with the given roles. - This is an English speaking event.
- This is not all encompassing; Be kind and use common sense.

- Behave like children are present, because they are!
- No adult or vulgar content outside the 18+ channels.

- Suggestive artwork is treated case by case but again, there are kids here so be mindful of what

- Be courteous and respectful
- Let others talk. Don’t spam or repeat yourself to redirect conversation. This includes
voice channels and VRChat spaces. Turn on noise cancellation if available and abide by requests to use
push-to-talk or mute when not speaking. - Respect is non-negotiable, no matter who you’re talking to. This includes pronouns.
Normalise looking at someone’s profile or asking if unsure. - Do not persist if discomfort is expressed.
- Avoid mean-spirited or rude humour, including playful cruelty.
- Don’t downplay others’ opinions.
- No reciprocal roleplay, take it to DMs or a private space. Small non sequitur actions are
ok (eg:*wave*, *hugs*) – Consent is required for actions that indicate touching another person, in text,
voice or VRChat. - Ask before DMing others. This includes staff.
- Let others talk. Don’t spam or repeat yourself to redirect conversation. This includes

- Harmful phrases, slurs, and promotion of hate groups or their ideas are forbidden.
- Do not promote illegal acts or harmful activities.
- Do not be dismissive or otherwise make light of others’ lives, such as the impact of
political policies, cops, military, etc. - Do not dox yourself or others. Be respectful when posting photos that contain people that
didn’t consent to their picture being taken: blur faces and any identifying information.- You must be 18+ to share photos of themselves as we do not want any minors

- This is a space to allow folks to chat away from minors and host panels/games that are
intended for mature audiences and may include sharing educational resources, artwork, jackbox games,

- You must be 18+ AND legal age in your area, then you may complete registration, including providing
birthday and pay ($5) for the role to get access. - Once registered, we will manually check your credentials and give you the discord roles.

- Vendor payments may be rolled over to a future year as account credit in certain circumstances.
- Submitting a chargeback will result in your access to our spaces being cancelled and revoked
indefinitely. Cancelled orders will not be refunded. - If your physical mailed items arrive damaged, please send photos and your order number to store
at cozycononline dot com - We cannot accept returns or exchange items. Please make sure you have checked the sizing charts
and have measured accordingly before placing your order. All our items are of limited quantity and many printed
to order. Please gift or donate your items if you no longer wish to have them.
- CozyCon Online is not responsible for technical difficulties resulting in connectivity problems,
device performance, platform outages or any other issue outside of our control. - Please make sure that your devices are up to date and are equipped to handle the platforms you
are running. - While not guaranteed, our staff may be able to help with minor troubleshooting and you are
welcome to ask in our Discord server in the #Help-desk channel. - If your account on our platforms has been hacked or lost, you will need to rejoin our spaces
under your new account. In most cases, we cannot confirm that this new account is the same user as the old
account and may not be able to restore your roles. Please reach out to us and we will do our best to
accommodate.

- CozyCon and its staff are not responsible for your content and will not protect you from legal
action, nor do we provide any payment services for you. You are solely responsible for your business
transactions.- We do NOT allow genAI (including text), NFTs or other copyright violations.

- While our mascot is an anthropomorphic sloth, CozyCon is a multi-fandom online convention, which
includes folks with interests like anime, gaming, vrchat, furries, animation, livestreamers, and much much more!
- We’re an online community that hosts a big yearly multi-day convention in September and monthly
community events, with our main hub being Discord. - It is free to attend and available to anyone with an internet connection and access to our
platforms. (VRChat does not require a headset! Desktop mode exists and there are some beta phone apps as well.)
- Tell your friends, your discord/telegram/etc communities, share our social media posts, add our
announcements feed to your discord, etc. - We have sweet swag available in our Constore if you
want cool themed and limited edition items as well as some commissions from our staff artists. You can also
donate to us through Ko-fi. - Run an event/panel during our yearly event, or
offer to host community events more frequently. - Volunteering keeps us running and gives us
more people power to do cooler things!
- It’s not free to host CozyCon and since we don’t charge an attendance fee, the only logical
places we can cover our overhead and keep running our event, is through vendors who are selling their wares in
our space, and through merch. We have started hosting fundraiser streaming events during the year and if we’re
able to cover more overhead through that, we aim to reduce the vendor cost. - Vendors are also featured on the website, and have their own forum posts in our discord for
almost a whole year and poster/booths in VRChat are put into worlds that are public for the foreseeable future
and linked from our website for folks to peruse as they are themed worlds.
- We charge in Canadian Dollars, so this means that our fundraisers, CozyCon Club merch bundle,
special roles, etc., are about 30% cheaper for USD folks. - Please note however, that our Vendors are worldwide and charge in a variety of currencies and
their listings will tell you what to expect.
Privacy
- By participating in CozyCon Online, you give consent that your VRChat in-game likeness and
behavior may be recorded (still photos, video, audio, etc) by CozyCon and its attendees. We cannot control when
folks enter our worlds, private or public, with the intent to stream its contents. The staff may take footage
for promotion to post on social media and use them for lawful purposes without compensation. - Attendees may record and/or livestream our VRChat worlds for lawful, non-commercial purposes. If
you are looking to conduct interviews, or create content for commercial purposes please reach out to us. - Please note that audio within our VRChat instances may contain copyrighted material and you are
not granted the right to use said copyrighted materials.
- We collect Personal Data about you when you provide such information directly to us, through our
third party services, or when information is collected automatically through your use of our services. By
providing any Personal Data of other people to CozyCon Online, you represent that you have the authority to do
so. - We collect information required to provide our services to you, for legal reasons, our legitimate
interests, and may include, but is not limited to:- Usernames & Platform IDs
- Email address
- First and Last name
- Shipping Address
- Any personal data you may provide when communicating with us or our moderators.
- Accessing our 18+ role and spaces is completely optional and if opted in, requires the collection
of your Birthday to process. We do not collect or store any photos of ID’s. - We may require a phone number to ship mailed orders.
- Our website may collect and use information including but not limited to IP addresses, browser,
etc., for the purpose of protecting our services, and general use data so we can make meaningful updates to our
services. - If you create a shop account, login and select “remember me” then your login will persist for two
weeks using cookies. Logging out will remove the cookies. - We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services, to comply with
legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce agreements. Legal obligations require us to
keep some records for at least 7 years. - You may request a file of your personal data that we hold about you, including data you have
provided to us. You may also request to erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we
are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
- We use various third party solutions to help deliver our services, including but not limited to
Paypal for payments, Google Drive for documents/forms/etc., and each of our
platforms, and you are subject to their terms and policies. These may include digital storage outside of your
jurisdiction. - Embedded content from other websites may appear on this website and behaves the same way as if
you have visited the other website. They may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party
tracking and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. This includes but is not limited to, Youtube.
